My favorite carol is O Come All Ye Faithful but I adore Little Drummer Boy because it's my son's favorite. He never gets the words right which is all the more special.

My favorite Christmas carol would have to be Away in a Manger. If I could choose a secular Christmas ong, it would be a toss-up between Tennessee Christmas and Christmas in Dixie.

ReplyDeleteHands down, no thought, Linus and Lucy from A Charlie Brown Christmas. My second favorite would be Greensleeves. I have watched CB every year since I was a child and to this day it is my absolute favorite Christmas show and the album by Vince Guaraldi is my favorite Christmas album. No holiday season would be complete without either one!!

ReplyDeletethe first noel... It's very funny, over here in Turkey there's no Christmas of course, but they do celebrate New Year, so christmas carrols (and christmas songs) are played in every store until well over 1 Jan... :-)

We have a local Christian radio station that has been playing Christmas songs since Thanksgiving. So many new contemporary artists has re-done many of the songs! I love them all!
