Red Riding Hood

I found this darling image on Flickr today.  I'm amazed at how we take scary children's stories and turn them into pretty little books and cards.  This is a get well card!  Oh my, get well or you might be eaten by the big bad wolf!

My teenage daughter and her friends are anxiously waiting the arrival of this movie set to come out next week.  Ok, maybe I'm alittle excited too!

Joyfully,

  2. I agree with the cute images on scary things.
Have you ever really listened to the words in Rock-a by-baby?...
    just a liitle bit scary...lol.
I'm not sure about the movie...it looks hauntingly beautiful but scary at the same time!...

  3. That little card is adorable. Love the graphics on it. I want to see the movie also. I had to chuckle at Lori's reference to the words in Rock-a-by-baby. What baby wants to hear that the cradle will fall, baby and all. :)

  4. I have that sweet little card image too. The days of consequences I am afraid have passed...I love to collect the old nursery rhyme books and see how they have mellowed out over the years. Thanks for sharing...Renee

  6. My daughter, who is 25 today, still tells me she is haunted by the Red Ridinghood video I rented for her to watch when she was a little girl. I scarred her for life! *wink*
