Americana Rose Quilt
I'm posting for Friday a little early since I will be tied up with the barn sale today. I'm feeling the summery colors of red, white and blue. The quilt above is one of my favorites made with the Cottage Romance line.
Vintage Hobnail Milk Glass and berries
There is nothing like the crisp colors of red and white. I've been wanting to do a red and white quilt for a long time. As the saying goes, "So many quilts, so little time..."
My Porch
Not much time to sit on the porch these days. I haven't been out here since Max passed last week. He liked to lay on the cool concrete. I thought I heard his tags jingling up the stairs yesterday and I almost went out in the hallway to look, crazy as it is. Check out more pretties at Joyce's blog!
Friday Blessings,
Happy friday pretties !!! happy summer days!!! hugs and love......Ria......

ReplyDeleteOh Renee ... I just scrolled down to read about your dear Max. I'm so very sorry for your loss. He was such a beautiful dog, and I know how much you must be missing him.
ReplyDeleteI really love the quilt you have shown us. Wow. How stunning. I assume this is one you made? Amazing! You are so gifted.
And oh, the white bowl with the red strawberries. First of all, so pretty to the eyes. I love the combination of white and ANY color. Secondly, those strawberries look like they need to be eaten!
Your porch is beautiful. I pray you will soon be able to sit on it without the memories being overwhelming.
Tender Hugs to you ....
Renee,

So sorry to hear about the passing of your baby. I don't know what I'd do without mine.

I'm feeling the red white and blue love too. Those colors just say summer to me:>)
ReplyDeleteHi Renee, I just popped over from Nancy's-A Gardner's Cottage and so thankful I did. I am a quilter and I love your red, white and blue quilt. Your porch is adorable and I understand missing a pet-my beloved dog died Christmas night this year.
ReplyDeleteI will be joining as a follower and look forward to reading more.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Noreen
