Last week when I signed off for spring break I got in the car with my daughter and we drove 13 hours to Atlanta, Georgia to visit my brother and his family. I have not been to their home since they moved there and was well overdue for a trip. One of our days together we went to the neighboring town of Senoia.
Senoia is a charming little town filled with fun shops and antique stores. I was so thrilled to be in sunshine and to see flowers blooming. I snapped these pictures as we walked along the street.
It was wonderful not to have a schedule, to just enjoy being with family and to take in all the blessings of our time together.
I fell in love with this potting table made from salvaged pieces of various items, but alas had no way to get it home. Maybe I can build my own.
This quaint town has been home to many a movie set and I snapped a couple of pictures of two of my favorite movies that were filmed there.
The houses were charming and I even saw a pink one. It would be so easy to pack up and move there.
It was worth the 26 hour round trip to see my sweet niece, Gracie as she hangs on to my brother's ears to keep from falling. Blessings!
