For all of you that follow Renee, we have some very sad news to share with you. On Wednesday, July 5th, she went to be with her savior Jesus Christ. This was a sudden and totally unexpected event. Her friends and family are mourning her sudden loss. We know that Renee loved to share her life with all of you here on Sewn with Grace. She loved to hear from you and create with you. So many of you were like part of her family and we felt it was important to share this development with you.

I just read this news and am deeply saddened to hear it. I met Renee very briefly when we first launched Cotton Cuts and she very graciously volunteered to make a quilt and donate it to charity. She was a creative spirit with a great heart and I am sad that she is no longer with us. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...Kim Moos

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Sending prayers for comfort and healing during this difficult time.
ReplyDeleteI am SO sorry. It was really thoughtful of you to inform her readers. I bookmarked her site some time ago because she and I have similar taste in quilt colors, etc. and her quilts were so beautiful and inspired my creativity. Knowing Jesus doesn't take away our sorrow and pain, as you know. I hate that. But thankfully, it does for Renee. And it does give us hope in our grief, which is a certain hope. And I am grateful for that. Hugs to you all. You have my sympathy.
ReplyDeleteMuy triste noticia, Dios la reciba con amor y les brinde a su familia mucha paz.
