The Colors of Spring
I hope you had a wonderful Easter with family and friends! The weather here was spectacular and we enjoyed good food with family after a lovely Easter service at church. He is risen! He is risen indeed!! I finished my spring quilt yesterday and couldn't wait to show you. The pattern is from the book, Easter Threads by Need'l Love and is called "Easter Parade". It was very fun to make. I think the dusty aqua fabric really makes the quilt, it is from the Notting Hill collection by Robyn Pandolph. The pillow was made last year and is from the book also. This is the third project I have made from the book and certainly not the last. Don't you just love the colors of spring? My friend Stacy, who I had the pleasure of meeting this past year at the Swapaholics Retreat, sent me the beautiful mini quilt. Stacy's quilting is divine! The quilt is the perfect backdrop to my new Easter decoration, the Thorn of Crowns. I just love them both! As you can see, Easter decor was popping up all over the house. It is so refreshing and I plan on leaving it out for a long time! I pray you are having a good start to your week!

ReplyDeleteSuch a really sweet Spring quilt. Loved seeing your Easter decorations. I'm with you, leaving my Easter/spring out until the end of April. Easter was early this year, so I'm going to enjoy them for a while longer.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is a real knock out! I do love Randolph fabrics. I don't quilt but have used them in many craft projects. They really are beautiful!
