Color Inspiration

The second leg of my journey led me to Woodland, California to visit family.  We made a short trip to San Francisco, one of my favorite places.  The Farmers Market at the Ferry Building was an amazing assortment of flowers, veggies, shell fish and more.  Having seen nothing but snow for so long, the colors were almost more than I could handle.  I was clearly on sensory overload. Chinatown itself is always a riot of color.  I was so happy the lanterns were still up for Chinese New Year.  We had a fun trip to the botanical gardens and conservatory.  Such a wonderful time and great color inspiration for quilting!
