Row Along Top Finished
I picked the absolute gloomiest day to take pictures of my Row Along quilt top for you. Its slim pickin's for a sunny photo day this time of year in Michigan, so I can tell you that the colors are deeper and more vivid than they appear here. This was a fun quilt to make and I learned a lot about piecing, cutting, pressing and accuracy while making it. Lori's instructions were very thorough and the borders came together and went on like a breeze. We are gearing up for a snowstorm today. The cold is bone-chilling and the wind is wicked. I am so done with winter!
Hugs,

This quilt is so sweet and no sunshine is necessary to see how charming this is. I love this quilt. Stay warm and I hope spring comes quickly to Michigan.

Your quilt is just lovely..I really want to make this quilt but refrained from starting a new project until I finish up a few others. I'm thinking of organizing a group in our guild to make this a Sew Along Row Along,,I think it would be fun...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! Hurry sunshine and have a blessed Easter.
ReplyDeleteHow big did it turn out to be?

ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe dear friend.
Just gorgeous, Renee! I haven't checked Lori's blog in a while, so I hadn't seen the border. What a wonderful quilt! Promises spring soon, even if the weather isn't cooperating!

Renee, it's gorgeous. Such a pretty and generous design of Lori's!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love all the different designs.
ReplyDeleteSpring snow seems like nature is cheating. We had flurries here, my sis in law 60 miles north of us got about 2 in of snow (not a lot but we have so many things in bloom-crazy weather).
It's beautiful! I got so far behind but may catch up one of these days. Yours turned out so well!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute quilt and I love the border color. I'm still needing to do my borders but the top is finished! I picked a 30's fabric green with stylized daisy, small and green and for the backing, a bright yellow overall daisy. Just need to sit and sew but work beckons.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful Renee! I'm so glad you joined in...
ReplyDeleteI just knew yours would turn out fabulous!!!!
