Row Along Top Finished

I picked the absolute gloomiest day to take pictures of my Row Along quilt top for you.  Its slim pickin's for a sunny photo day this time of year in Michigan, so I can tell you that the colors are deeper and more vivid than they appear here.  This was a fun quilt to make and I learned a lot about piecing, cutting, pressing and accuracy while making it.  Lori's instructions were very thorough and the borders came together and went on like a breeze.  We are gearing up for a snowstorm today.  The cold is bone-chilling and the wind is wicked.  I am so done with winter!

Hugs,

  1. This quilt is so sweet and no sunshine is necessary to see how charming this is. I love this quilt. Stay warm and I hope spring comes quickly to Michigan.

  2. Your quilt is just lovely..I really want to make this quilt but refrained from starting a new project until I finish up a few others. I'm thinking of organizing a group in our guild to make this a Sew Along Row Along,,I think it would be fun...

  7. Just gorgeous, Renee! I haven't checked Lori's blog in a while, so I hadn't seen the border. What a wonderful quilt! Promises spring soon, even if the weather isn't cooperating!

  13. Beautiful. I love all the different designs.

Spring snow seems like nature is cheating. We had flurries here, my sis in law 60 miles north of us got about 2 in of snow (not a lot but we have so many things in bloom-crazy weather).

  15. Such a cute quilt and I love the border color. I'm still needing to do my borders but the top is finished! I picked a 30's fabric green with stylized daisy, small and green and for the backing, a bright yellow overall daisy. Just need to sit and sew but work beckons.
