Pairs of Mittens

With the whirlwind of festivities over, I sat down to do some sewing of my own today.  It started snowing yesterday and we are now covered in a blanket of white.  I made some hot chocolate and got to cutting and sewing row 8 of Lori's Row Along.

It was fun picking out the different fabrics for each pair of mittens.  I am so happy to be caught up with my rows.  I am enjoying the much needed slower pace with the Christmas rush over.  The snow is keeping me inside and I've been able to try to get organized again.  I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and are having a relaxing day of your own.

Blessings,

  12. With the hustle and bustle of the Christmas celebration over, the pace has slowed somewhat. I popped in to see what you have been up to and was so delighted with your mittens. I cannot wait to see the finished product. How creative!!! Joy

  13. So cute.

    Rain here.

I've been cross stitching some little deer for pictures for the new grandbaby's room. My daughter is decorating with a 70s woodland animal theme. It is nice to have days to be in the house just doing things you enjoy doing.

Hoping we will have snow soon. :)

  14. Such adorable mittens. Funny, all day, I've been thinking that now Christmas is over, I want to start Lori's Row along. This may be the inspiration I needed. No snow here, but fog and rain puts me in a quilting frame of mind.

  16. I spent a little time scrolling back through your December posts and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I have not blogged or read blogs much and I am glad I visited here today. I would love to join in on this row along even though I am very late. I love the mittens and the fabrics you are using.
