Row Along ~ Row One

Row one of Lori's Row Along is complete.  I love the mystery part of this quilt, not knowing what it will look like in the end and not really knowing what the fabrics will look like together.  I adore the scrappy nature of this quilt and I'm really liking how the fabrics look in this row.  I would've never put these fabrics together if I wasn't making this quilt, so I'm learning a lot in the process about color, pattern and scale.  The aqua blue fabric with the little white flower with a red center is an actual vintage feed sack.  I don't know if I can stand to wait two weeks for the next row!

Smiles,
