This is the view from my porch today. The grey skies
have lifted to reveal a sparkling blanket of snow under
a sun filled sky. The very best kind of winter day.
Feeling the need to snuggle and rest, my daughter plans
on opening this fun gift she received for Christmas.
I plan on devouring this wonderful magazine while I help her with her stitches.
My husband will be finishing up his current read.
A good winter's day!
Blessings!
Hugs,
Looks like a beautiful and amazing day. Good for all of you! We have sun but the temps are in the teens. Brrrr. Just a dusting of snow so far this year. I fear we will be hit as soon as school begins again. Oh, well. Even teachers like snow days. :) Have a wonderful afternoon. ~Kelly

I love the view in the picture! It looks like a nice winter day! It's always nice to have a day to just rest and snuggle in some blankets! Hope you have a nice day Renee!!
ReplyDeleteHi Renee, What a beautiful landscape for you to behold-I'm thankful you got the snow and not us for even though I love it, for some reason this year I'd like it to be light.
ReplyDeleteI'm still getting over my cold so staying in and reading; need to start tracing a quilt pattern though but I just don't have the energy.
Have a nice warm day inside.
Hugs, Noreen
It looks like a perfect day to settle in and enjoy a new project or decorating magazine. I have been searching for the latest Romantic Country magazine and haven't found it yet. Enjoy the day.

Please enjoy a little slice of the snowy heaven for me. We are still high and dry here...smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I can't believe all the snow! It is so beautiful. though. It was low 50's today in Dallas. A little cool but sunny.
ReplyDeletePS I got the new Romantic Country in the post on Saturday...One of the best issues ever!
I like the sounds of your winter day :)
ReplyDeleteYes, the sun on new snow is so gorgeous--sometimes like diamonds--and it's especially wonderful when you can just stay home and do cozy, homey things!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a perfect day. You sure have a beautiful view, Renee. Such a cute crochet kit.
ReplyDeleteI just picked up that magazine at Walmart today, but don't think I can wait til it snows to read it. LOL
ooohh sounds like a lovely warm day to me. Enjoy ;-)) dee x
ReplyDeleteI love it when the snow has settled and all is calm outside allowing one to enjoy such beauty.
ReplyDeleteI think your daughter's craft project is so cute. I'm sure she will enjoy working on it.
I got the crochet book for my youngest for Christmas too! She was so excited! I am hoping we learn together. She sewed all of her Christmas presents and did a marvelous job for a 7 year old. Happy New Year.
