Red Rose Farm Blocks
Thank you for all your concern and prayers. The tornado sirens went off and my husband and I waited out our time in the basement, but nothing touched down, thank you Lord! It is rare that we get a tornado in our part of southwest Michigan.
Current Knitting Project
My yard looks exactly like it did on Monday, before the leaf guy came. Honestly, I think I got all of the neighbors leaves in my yard too. I'm thinking the leaf guy knew what the weather forecast was, hmm...
What I'm Reading
I did manage to get some errands done after the "all clear" alert. Most of the day I spent inside enjoying all of the above. I made a mean pot of shrimp risotto and watched the food network. A good, safe day all around.
Glad to hear that all is well. My daughter is in Michigan this week, so it's something we are watching. Take care.ReplyDelete
I live here in theGrand Haven area and the waves on the piers are awesome...terrible wind.. Glad you are safe.ReplyDelete
I love your embroidery at the top of your blog, are they vintage designs?ReplyDelete
Sounds scary, but glad to hear you are OK!ReplyDelete
Happy to hear you're safe & sound. My husband is in Chicago this week and heading to Kalamazoo on Friday -- he told me today the weather in Chicago was unbelievable! Risotto sounds very comforting :-)ReplyDelete

I love the embroidery at the top. I used to do a lot of that. Are those patterns still available?
We've had high winds here, too and had tornadoes in this area yesterday.
Oooooooo, I may have to head to the bookstore! My friend in IL had part of her peach tree break off and a neighbor's house burn. Crazy day in the Midwest!ReplyDelete
