Sunday Scripture

"Two things I ask of you, O Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much
and disown you and say,
'Who is the Lord?'
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the
name of my God."

Proverbs 30:7-9

  2. dear renee,

    i love that scripture, because it shows
    me that solomon feared what i fear
    about myself. if my children were
    hungry, i would steal bread for them.

    and as for the other way, "to whom
    much has been given, much is required."

    blessings,
    lea

  3. This has been one of my favorite passages. The "preacher" left us many wonderful admonitions. Thank God for his glorious Word!!
