Just in Time for Valentine's Day

Do any of you miss Country Home Magazine as much as I do?  I was feeling very hopeful about a possible return when I found that their website is still up and running.  Country Home has this pattern available just in time for Valentine's Day.  This pretty pin is really simple to make and the pattern is available for you to print.
Another great Valentine's idea comes from Koralee at Bluebird Notes but you will have to start it now for next year.  She got each of her daughters a journal and wrote in it everyday for one year.  365 entries on what she loves about them.  How cool is that?  What a special gift they will cherish forever.  I think it would make a great gift for our husbands too, wouldn't they be surprised?
And for those of us who are craving a sweet treat for Valentine's Day, Bakerella has this recipe for Big Love Butterscotch Cookie.  I can't even imagine how many times I would have to go to the gym to work that off.  Have a blessed day thinking about all the ways you can make your dear ones smile this Valentine's Day!

Joyfully,

  4. What a sweet idea, to write in a book for one year, each day sharing something you love about that person. I am thinking about doing it for each of my family members. :o) I would like to create a "family project" out of it. :o) I have a little "Thank You" book that I write in. Finding something each day to give thanks for. I need to pick it back up again.
Hope you are having a nice day.
    Sincerely ~ Trish
