Tea Anyone?


This little cutie comes from Anthropologie.  Isn't it darling?  I cannot crochet, I have tried, but I just can't get it.  Of all the things I like to do, crochet just doesn't come easy.  My dear friend, Joyce, and I took a class together and we did pretty well, but we just like to sew and knit better.  I look at Alicia Paulson's blog and all her pretty crochet and ooh and ahh, but that's as far as it goes.  One of my goal's this year is to stick to what I do best, and learn something new in that area.  What about you, is there any craft you've given up for something else?

    Ps. OOPs forgot to answer your question, yes, quilting has intimidated me for years and the past year I have been learning to quilt. I am so excited about it. A whole new world has opened up to me!

    I would really love to try something new this year. I'm thinking about a photography class (doesn't really count as a craft) :)

    Oh I love it too! I had a sweet little set when I was little. I only knit too, but so many neat things you can do with crochet, that I want to learn.

    Renee, I visited Joyce and loved her blog. Will include it on my favorites.
    The little crocheted tea set is darling. I used to crochet, but have given it and knitting up for sewing. I just can't find time for everything, even though I try.
    If I could add something to learn to do better this year, it would be photography. I really need a better camera first though.
