Anthropologie. Isn't it darling? I cannot crochet, I have tried, but I just can't get it. Of all the things I like to do, crochet just doesn't come easy. My dear friend, Joyce, and I took a class together and we did pretty well, but we just like to sew and knit better. I look at Alicia Paulson's blog and all her pretty crochet and ooh and ahh, but that's as far as it goes. One of my goal's this year is to stick to what I do best, and learn something new in that area. What about you, is there any craft you've given up for something else?
I want to let you know of a new blog authored by my friend, Joyce. It's called "I love pretty little things." You can find it here. It is such a treat and I'm hoping you will join me in welcoming her to the blogosphere.
Be a blessing today,
what a precious tea set!!! i'm an anthropologie fan - no doubt about it. you found me on SITS and i'll gladly return the favor <3ReplyDelete
Renee, Thanks for the endorsement!!! Did you buy that cute little tea set?ReplyDelete
Good Morning Renee.ReplyDelete
What a precious little tea set. I adore crocheted things, but like you, I am not one who crochets.
I am heading over to the blog that you mentioned in just a moment. :o)
Have a wonderful day.
Ps. OOPs forgot to answer your question, yes, quilting has intimidated me for years and the past year I have been learning to quilt. I am so excited about it. A whole new world has opened up to me!
I would really love to try something new this year. I'm thinking about a photography class (doesn't really count as a craft) :)ReplyDelete
Headed over to Joyces blog now!
Oh I love it too! I had a sweet little set when I was little. I only knit too, but so many neat things you can do with crochet, that I want to learn.ReplyDelete
Renee, I visited Joyce and loved her blog. Will include it on my favorites.ReplyDelete
The little crocheted tea set is darling. I used to crochet, but have given it and knitting up for sewing. I just can't find time for everything, even though I try.
If I could add something to learn to do better this year, it would be photography. I really need a better camera first though.
