Fat Quarter Shop Top 10 Videos of 2015 Celebration ~ Single Wedding Ring Quilt

The Fat Quarter Shop is celebrating their Top 10 videos of 2015.  Yesterday began two weeks of showcasing each of the quilts.  You can read more about the quilts and see the videos on the Jolly Jabber blog.  To join in on the party, a bunch of great bloggers have stitched up the quilts and I am happy to be included with this awesome group.

I made the Single Wedding Ring quilt pattern using Flower Sugar fabric from Lecien.  This quilt is so happy and fun.  It was not difficult to put together.  The key for this quilt is squaring up your half square triangles before sewing the block and then squaring up the block.  This makes everything come together wonderfully!

The combination of this pattern with the fabric line makes such a happy quilt!  It's a New Year Party all by itself!

During the blog hop, if you make one of the quilts and tag it to Instagram with the hashtag #FQSTop10 and #singleweddingringquilt you will be entered in a contest for a chance to win a Fat Quarter Shop $100 gift card.  The contest will end February 1st.

Thank you to the Fat Quarter Shop for all their hard work in making the videos and providing these free patterns to us!  Be sure to check out the other blogs participating today ~

  4. Hi, Renee. I'm spending a little time catching up on my blog reading after the busy holiday season and admiring all the beautiful work you have done these past few months. When I read the post about the little zippered bag you made and got blood on it, I thought you might like to know this little trick. Peroxide to the rescue! It should be in every quilters arsenal. Try dabbing a little on with a cotton ball. It might do the trick. Love this blog and your beautiful work!

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Nancy! I will try that trick for blood. What a pain that little bag was to make, but oh so cute!
