Snowflakes

Popping in to say hi!  I know we are all on the mad dash to get things done before Christmas.  I'm sewing and knitting up a storm on my end.  I'm making a special quilt for a friend who just had her home burglarized and I'm determined to get it done in the next couple days.  Yesterday I went down to the cafe to help the girls get 178 snowflake cookies decorated for a special order.  I took this picture with my phone.  It was a lot of fun decorating them, but a lot of work!  There are rumors of snow for our part of Michigan in the next day or so.  We may have real snowflakes by Christmas.  Would love to hear what you've all been up to.  Blessings!

Joyfully,

  1. They look decidedly yummy! My first ever snowy Christmas was at Mission Point on Mackinac Island in 2001. I was living in South Africa then, but visiting friends in Michigan - imagine my delight when we woke up on Christmas morning and it was snowing.. truly magical! Still knitting and sewing here too, but all under control :-)
    Merry Christmas,
    xx

  7. Seeing those cookies definitely gets the Christmas mood in full swing! Yum! Haven't done any baking....probably won't. But sewing...now that's another thing!! Am done with the needed gifts and will wrap them in the morning. Working on a QOV at the moment. Christmas dinners will be at others' homes so just have to "bring". Christmas Blessings, D
