You're Coming With Me

Source: misshappy.ro via Renee on Pinterest

There has been so much going on here in the past couple of weeks that I haven't been able to sit long enough to write a proper post and fill you in.   My husband has taken a new job, one that is veering him off his normal path and on to something new.  It will require us to be apart for an extended time period but in the end we will all be together and moved to a new city about and hour and a half from where we currently live.  I apologize for being so vague, but I'm not sure what is proper to share online.  I am currently in the process of getting the house ready to put on the market.  This week I will participate in a very large barn sale at the farm where we host weddings.  My employer is also embarking on a new adventure.  After this September we will no longer be hosting weddings at the farm.  The farm is officially up for sale.  They have decided to focus on their new restaurant and will be moving closer to it.  We have five weddings in September and then we will be shutting down our business.  I will be updating you as we venture down this new path.  I could'nt do it without you.  Your support and encouragement have been such a blessing and I plan on taking you with me every step of the way.  In the meantime, plan on lots more sewing and quilting.  I'm thinking maybe it's time to make some inventory and look for a place to sell my creations in my new hometown.  Time to take a deep breath, grab your hand and go...

Joyfully,

  2. Very exciting! About six years ago we moved from the West Coast to the East Coast for my husbands job and couldn't be happier! It is when my daughter and I started our small business venture and are loving it! Glad you are taking us along on your adventure!

  8. Well, how many exciting opportunities await you!! I would be nervous, and yet it would be so fun to focus on the many fun things that can be. That is where I would be. Thinking about all the great things that you always wanted to change, and now you have the opportunity to put into place. That way you wanted to make your sewing place, and now you CAN! Those little inexpensive details you can craft and create to make an impact. How much fun there is to keep you awake at night dreaming!

  26. After reading a comment from someone about changes in your life, I had to read some posts I have missed. I pray your move and your short separation from your hubby will go smoothly. As you know, I have made many changes since you have known me. We look at everyday as an adventure and look forward to what God has in store for us. I look forward to seeing what He has in store for you too. Some hard work ahead, but the rewards will be there.

  27. Oh Renee, how I emphathize with you. Life has seasons and transition is disturbing at best. We do have the Comforter and so are blessed in being able to move ahead with remarkable ease, even at times like this. May He enfold you and your family in the change ahead. I pray for the "speedy" sale of your home and may the buyer be blessed there as you have been. Joy
