I thought about sending Lecien an email letting them know that they single handedly may ruin my "make do" pledge and force me to reconsider my fabric lockdown and that they need to immediately recall this fabric. I then realized that it wouldn't be fair to the rest of you who have the ability to control yourself when purchasing fabric. So instead of the email, I purchased one yard each of the top right-hand corner and the bottom right-hand corner and that's all I have to say on this subject.
Smiles,

I think I'd have a problem sticking to that also. The colors and prints are just so pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear...They are torturing us, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteYes, these are just too lovely to pass up!
ReplyDeleteWith fabric like that, how can you resist?
ReplyDeleteOh my! These are calling my name.
ReplyDeleteThey're too pretty to pass up! :) Smiles, Holly
ReplyDeleteA belated Happy Anniversary to you both! We celebrate 54 next Thursday and our daughter celebrates 24 on Monday. We are all so blessed.

I don't think you should feel guilty at all Renee! In fact the lower left corner looks a little lonely, how could you leave it behind? ;>)
ReplyDeleteSounds very fair to me. I think a fat quarter of each would have really overdone it..smiles..Renee

ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric!! Just when I think I've seen all that I like, someone shows me more luscious fabric like this line! I should say thank you, but I am trying to be soooo good with not buying any more! Why oh why do they tempt us so!!
ReplyDeleteI think this fabric, at least some of it will have to find it's way to my house too.
ReplyDeleteThey are very pretty and I'm sure you'll find a good use for those two fabrics.
ReplyDeleteYou should go back and purchase all the rest that you want. Life is too short not to have too many fabrics!
