Strolling

Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers.  It looks like it's my gallbladder.  I will know on Tuesday how to proceed.  If it has to come out, I understand that it's a relatively simple surgery.  For that I am thankful.  I can certainly feel your prayers because today I am pain free - praise the Lord! Want to take a stroll through the garden with me?  The roses are in bloom!

It's rainy and cool today, just what the garden needed.  This rose has never bloomed before.  I didn't even know it was yellow.

I could stand in the garden all day.  If I didn't have to compete with the bees, I would park myself in the middle of the roses and hand-quilt.

It's so quiet here today.  I'm sitting on the porch as I type this watching the birds go back and forth to the feeder which is just outside the window where I'm sitting.

I've added a fairy garden this year.  I'm having more fun with it than a grown-up person should!

The basil and the tomato plants are in.  I'm keeping it simple this year.  The rest will come from the farmers market.  Enjoy your day today!

Smiles,

  1. Sometimes keeping it simple is the very best thing to do in a garden. Thanks for taking us on a stroll with you. Will be praying for you. My mother-in-law just had gallbladder surgery last week. It was a fairly simple procedure and after just a couple days she was pretty much back to her normal routine. Blessings to you!

  6. I'm so glad your problem can be fixed easily. Hopefully, without the surgery.
I also showed flowers from my garden on my post today, but not nearly as artistically as you did! This is just a garden type of day, isn't it? I am also happy in my garden!

Your roses are wonderful and how I would love to sit with you and hand quilt...minus the bees of course.

  10. Beautiful stroll. Wouldn't it be grand to do some hand sewing in the midst of a lovely garden? I might get a bit distracted absorbing all the beauty, fragrances and activity of the birds and bugs though. :) Doing it on the porch might be better.
