Humble Beginnings

I'm having way too much fun with the window display at the cafe.  Each month before the first Friday of the month, it gets changed.   That Friday marks the downtown area Art Hop where local artists display their work.  Hundreds of people frequent this event.  I thought it would be fun to decorate the entire window with cupcake liners.  From humble paper beginnings to…

clothing and…

accessories!  A girl can't have too many purses, can she?

I apologize for the glare.  The sun rises on the front of the cafe
and the window is usually ablaze with sunshine!

I'm telling you, it's just way more fun than a girl should have!!

For those of you who have inquired, it's my gallbladder for sure,
waiting on the appointment with the surgeon.  Taking lots of meds
Praising the Lord for clear answers!

Smiles,

  7. That's a show stopper kind of dress. So creative and very cute! I know you are a patience woman to assemble such a large project with such small things, but your effort sure did pay off!

  8. The display is so cute! I found your blog via a picture of your cake stand quilt--I made one, too, for my daughter. My parents live in St. Jo, Michigan and we are visiting this summer so I'm hoping to stop by. I hope you are feeling better, soo.

  14. Now that's what I call being creative! Such fun is right.
I had my gallbladder taken out about two and a half years ago (sludge buildup). Other than weight gain, I've not had any real problems since then. I pray all goes well.
