Sunday Scripture

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,
what you will eat or drink; or about your body,
what you will wear.  Is not life more than food,
and the body more than clothes?  Look at the
birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store
away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father
feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable
than they?  Can any one of you by worrying
add a single hour to your life?"

Matthew 6:25-27

  1. I love these verses. . . they have been in my heart as I do my morning walks. . . & as I think I need to be in control of everything. These words are such a release to the things we can so easily worry so much about!
    Thanks for the reminder. . . (& I love your photo choice!. . .) :o)

  2. I love this verse, because it reminds me that worrying doesn't help anything- sometimes it only makes matters worse. Thanks for posting this verse because it helps me to remember that God is in control and I shouldn't worry!!

  3. I needed this scripture today. What a great reminder of our Father's care! I was trying to figure out how to stretch some dollars this morning. :) God will do it! Thanks for posting this.

  4. This verse is so timely for me today. I have been in worrying mode and can't seem to shake it. Thanks for the beautiful reminder that I need to turn my worries over to God.
