Bella Bag

I was asked to donate a purse for a silent auction and got up early this morning to get it done.  I started searching through my stash for some fall fabric.

I have made this bag before, and knew that it's not difficult to make - not even with the grommets.  It has some detailing that makes it look harder than it is.

If you want to try to make a purse with a little extra something, this is the one.  I'm off to deliver it now.

It's in the 70's today.  It looks like Indian Summer has hit my corner of the world.  The last warmth of the season before the cold creeps in.  Blessings today!

Smiles,

  3. What a cute bag and the fabric is perfect for fall. I can't believe you made it in one morning. I might have to get that pattern for Christimas sewing! Very pretty, Renee. Enjoy your weather's last hurrah, Patty

  4. That a really great bag. It does look difficult, but I've made it too and it isn't.

    Well done!

  6. Oh! I have that pattern and the gromets...Why haven't I made it? Well after seeing yours, I am going to have to dig it out. Bought it in Puducah, Ky. over a year ago, so it may be buried somewhere. Thanks for sharing how easy it is. Yours turned out really great.

  11. The detailing does, indeed, make it look difficult.

Thank you for your sweet generosity.
