At The Farm

Our season of fun is beginning at Friendship Farms.  We have six weddings scheduled for this summer with the first one the beginning of June.

Recently I decorated the barn for a fundraiser and a retirement party.  It was fun to use the bunting I made as well as the ruffles I put together using inexpensive plastic tablecloths.  When I find the tutorial on how I did these, I will let you know, it escapes me right now.

I took these pictures last week before the fund raiser.  I don't know if you can tell, but a big storm was rolling in.  It was very calm and peaceful though we knew what was coming.  Everything went great, but it did rain "cats and dogs" that night.

Aren't these vintage pieces fun?  Nancy has many fun things to use at events.  I just love pink and had to share these with you.  It looks like rain here today, so I'm off to quilt!

Smiles,

  6. Renee,
Hello! I am your newest follower!! I found your blog from Keren at "Free Pretty Things For You". I was immediately in love with the pictures of the farm, and the pink cooler just sealed the deal! I also love to sew and quilt among many other things. Keren has designed graphics for me for my new blog, "Ric Rac and Polka Dots", and as she always does she did an amazing job. I feel so blessed to have her amazing talents showcased on my little page! I hope that as my blog grows it will bring a little piece of happiness to others just as yours did for me this morning. I look forward to spending more time on your blog seeing all your projects and pictures. I hope you can find time to visit my blog, and that maybe we may even get a chance to know each other a little bit! Have a wonderful weekend, and please keep up the beautiful work. Thanks for sharing it with us. I loved seeing it! Julie
