A Few Favorites From 2010

So many ideas and so little time to do everything that we want to do.  We give our love to others through the gifts of our hands and hope they find as much joy in receiving as the joy we experience in the making.  Each project satisfies the craving to create, but not for long, as we move on to the next idea already forming in our minds.  I'm so glad that God gave me something to do with my hands and I'm ready to see what creations await you and I in the new year.  Blessings!

With joy,

  1. as always, so aptly put. Joy in the process and anticipation as much as the giving of the gift. Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

  15. I loved how you put this. There is so much joy in the making of things and giving them to those we love. I cherish home made gifts. I made almost all of my Christmas cards this year. I read somewhere that giving cards was a waste of time and money better spent elsewhere. But I didn't agree. Like your lovely sewn items, the gift was from my heart. Have a blessed 2011. Thank you for bring grace and beauty to Blogland!

    Happy New Year,
