With Needles

I so enjoyed reading your comments on yesterday's post.  I got another quilt cut out and started these gloves as a Christmas present for my daughter.  Lori suggested that I do some applique.  Awhile back I won her giveaway and since she's the Queen of applique in my book, I decided to spend some time today studying her methods and trying a small applique quilt pattern that I have.  Di's comment about her husband borrowing her machine to make a Halloween costume had me laughing.  She has a recipe on her blog today for Pumpkin Fudge.  Yum, yum and yum!  Time to make some coffee and get to work.  Have a blessed day!

Joyfully,

  4. This post makes me want to pick up my tiny knitting needles again. But, the question is- How long before I decide they are too tiny and set them down again?...

  9. Hi Renee...
I hope reading about my method made some sense to you!
My daughter Kassidy saw your fingerless gloves you are knitting and wants me to make her some. They are soooo adorable and your yarn choice is fabulous!
Will you share the name of the book that you are working out of?
    Thanks a bunch!
    xx

  10. I am in absolute, complete, and total love with your yarn! The variegation is such a lovely mix of rich colors and the thread looks like such a soft weight.
