Crochet-a-long...

I would like to share with you a fun project that I'm working on.  Cassie at You Go Girl is hosting a crochet-a-long.  We are learning how to make these gorgeous pillow cases.  The ones above are from Rosehip.

Now before you decide that since you don't crochet or picked it up once and can barely make the slipknot, Cassie is taking us through this process step-by-step.  She said that it can be done and she lists some very good sources for help if needed.  Last week we had to gather our supplies and this week we will be making the pillowcase.  Want to join me in the fun?  How hard can it be if we work on it together?  I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...

Sunshine and laughter,

  1. I love the colorful edges! My DGM used to put the lacy crocheted thread edges on pillowcases, I'm sure these will go much faster. :-)

  2. These are so pretty! I have never crocheted before. I took a rag knitting class once and by the time I was finished I was so sick of that sweater I gave it to my sister.LOL! I'm gonna follow along though. I really would love to do some pillowcases.

  9. I'm doing it too. I hope to start on my pillowcases today. I've been practicing my crochet and have rediscovered that I CAN crochet single and double stitch!
