Do you ever have a day where you're just feeling blue? Where if someone looks at you funny you just might burst into tears? That's me today. I wish I could say why but I really don't know. That's the beauty of being female. We can just feel blue, look blue, be blue for no apparent reason at all. Men are baffled by this. Children just stay away hoping not to catch it. So, I bought myself some flowers, but it didn't help. This too shall pass. I just need to stay away from Ben & Jerry's or tomorrow I'll be feeling worse...

With joy regardless of my mood,

  1. I'm so sorry that you feeling down today, Renee. I'll be praying that your empty spot will be filled with so much joy today that it will overflow and drown out all those blues.

    Warm hugs, Lea

  2. Well, the flowers are beautiful! I have those days too! Hope tomorrow is a new beginning for you and puts you in a wonderful mood! I think it is just part of being a woman, just one of the many things we have to deal with that others don't!

  3. Oh . . I know those days! But in the midst of it. . . you are a woman of wisdom (to stay away from Ben & Jerry's!). That's something to be very thankful for! I will put you in my prayers. . . that your heart will be cheered by the blessings God brings to your heart & mind.
    xoxo, Bren

  4. So sorry you are feeling blue, Renee. I have those days, fortuantely not often. I usually take a nap or read a book or better yet....quilt. Anyway am praying for you a bright sunny day tomorrow.
As for your previous post, I love your snowman quilt and the colors.
I love Bunny Hill and am working on last years free BOM, A Tisket a Tasket. I love hand work.

  5. I'll pray too-but I think we have agreed it's a thing we all share-and some guys have it too---they might buy a drill or a saw though(chuckle)...Hope the sun shines and brings you a sweet day tomorrow.
    Love, Debra

  6. I'm sorry that you are sad today!
I had forgotten the Buy Myself Flowers On A Bad Day remedy. Next time I am sad for no reason I am going to buy myself some flowers! :D
    Those roses are Beautiful!!!
I hope that you have a better day tomorrow friend.

  7. I think it's the weather. We are ready for sunshine and Spring.

The last few months I have been taking extra vitamin D and I honestly think it helps. Do a google search and check out the benefits of vitamin D. I was actually surprised at all the benefits.
    Hugs, Sue

  8. Bless your heart. I am sorry that you are feeling sad. I get that way too sometimes. I can hear my grandma in the back of my mind saying to get a good nights sleep after having a cup of hot tea. :o) I don't care for hot tea, but the good nights sleep seems to do the trick. :o)
I will pray for you today.
    Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne

  9. Renee, I'm so sorry you were feeling blue. What a great idea to buy flowers. I feel that too, now and then. It's awful. I know what you feel like. You have a good attitude and I like it that you said with joy regardless of mood, as the Lord promised. It sounds like you are better today. I'm glad. Hugs, Kathi

  10. Oh my goodness can I relate to this post. If ever I feel like this my poor husband just doesn't know what to do. I'm glad you're feeling better. What a neat book to get.
