I grabbed the two round boxes I bought the other day and decided to make a cake with them. They were already decorated. I just hot glued the lids on, glued them together and then made the topper. I also did a little embellishing where the layers join. It looks rather festive sitting in my dining room. The only problem now is that I'm too tired to get back to the other stuff. Oh well, when your bit by the creative bug, there's no turning back. Be joyfilled today!!

OMG. I just saw your post and remembered I forgot to get back to you. I will email you shortly. How does the time get by me?
ReplyDeleteYuck a cold! I just got over one. It so frustrating feeling tired when you want to get a million and one things done.
I like what you did with the boxes. Those would be so cute for a birthday party. How fun.
Happy new year to you and your family.
Sue
Creative people always leave me in awe - love the wreath and the "cake."
ReplyDeleteI'm postponing dismantling the Christmas decor until Tuesday when my two boys are both back in school. And in hopes that between now and then, gnomes will show up in the middle of the night to do it for me.
I'll send them your way next :-)
Stopping by from SiTS to welcome you to the gang!!
