A Bit of Sewing

The snow is really coming down today. It's pretty, I have to admit. I thought I would do a bit of sewing. I made two table runners, one for my dear Mom-in-law and one for my Sis-in-law. It took about 4 hours from start to finish. The pattern came from Pleasant Home. I'm really pleased with the way they came out. I need to venture out into the snow, but don't want to interrupt the quiet stillness that is around me. I hope you are doing something you love today. Be joyfilled!

  1. Great table runners. I love them both, but especially the red and white one. 4 hrs. Wow, you must have been focused and didn't get interupted. Looks like you already machine quilted too. I am amazed. Wherever did you find that cute snowman fabric?
I'm glad you liked my recipe. They are really easy, just be prepared, they don't last long... If I lived close, I would bake you some.

  3. Thank you for your kind words! Beverly, I've had that snowman fabric in my stash for a couple of years. I just love it and use it sparingly. Tori, I hope you are heading this way over the holidays, would love to see you!
