Yesterday was my birthday. Another year older and hopefully wiser! I treated myself to some Maileg toys and books from a new favorite children's author. My husband is traveling and sent the most beautiful flowers. I can dream of spring when I look at them, though with snow gently falling outside spring is not in the foreseeable future. I finished up the most adorable doll for a sweet little girl who loves Pinnochio. The pattern is from the book, "Tilda's Fairytale Wonderland" by Tone Finnanger. I love making her toys, they each have so much personality. From the looks of Pinnochio, I think he may have something to get off his chest! I hope you are having a creative and fun day!

What a fun Pinocchio! You're so cleaver! I have to say that I am intrigued with your hexies. What are you making? I started making hexies last year with some favorite fabric scraps. although they only fill half of a pencil box, I'm constantly looking for ideas and dreaming of what I will make out of them. I've already started a collection of projects on my pinterest acct. I'm thinking that I might want to make a small project first as practice and for joy-- them work into bigger projects.
