Happy Labor Day friends! The winner of the Farm Girl Vintage Book giveaway is ~
Milton & Mr. Stubbs!
I have already sent you an email. Please respond so that I can get your book out to you.
My daughter finished her quilt right before she left for nursing school. I helped a little (wink). I'm so proud of her for seeing it through. It was an absolute delight hand stitching all those circles down together, drinking tea and talking about life. I will cherish those moments forever! The pattern is from the premiere issue of Simply Moderne Magazine. The construction of this quilt was completely different than any I have done before. It was not hard at all! Maddie had a great time picking out the fabrics. It was really fun!
Thank you for the giveaway Renee! I have six granddaughters and one grandson that I quilt for, so the book will be put to good use!
ReplyDeleteBless you,

So many memories packed into a quilt that will last a lifetime. So nice that you were able to do some of it together.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks great, it is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely memory for you both. I love the quilt and now am curious about the construction. Did you like the magazine? I'm thinking of ordering it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quilt! I love doing projects with my daughter and granddaughters, it's always a pleasure and relaxed time together. Well, your daughter is off to school and mine just graduated last spring. She is now working in a heart surgery ward and loving it, in fact she was hired for this job about a month before she graduated. There is a true need for good nurses and it is such a noble calling. I wish your daughter a great school year, it's hard working to become a nurse, but so very worth it :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
