I am on a mission this year to sew for Christmas each month so that I'm not making myself crazy in the weeks before Christmas. Would you like to join me? Here's the plan:
1. Grab the cute button "Sewing Christmas" from my sidebar and add it to your blog.
2. Stop in here the third Monday of each month where I will be featuring a gift you can make.
3. Share your own project that day through the link provided. It does not have to be a sewn item, it can be any great gift idea you may have.
4. Rejoice with me in December 2011 over all the gifts we have created and the fun we will be having with all of our free time!
A big THANK YOU to the very talented, KEREN at
for designing a wonderful button!
Be sure to visit her for some beautiful, vintage freebies!
Blessings,
That is one of my goals for this year, too. How fun to have some accountability! This year was so crazy (and not in a good way) so I vowed to get started early. I'm going to try and grab that cute button...
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeletean absolutely terrific idea Renee...and you were a great addition to our returning from holiday...
ReplyDeletea delight you are in every way
I am soooo going to do this with you Renee! My one piddly little Christmas gift I made this year made me one sorry elf. Now...how do I grab that button????? :)
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Keren's site. This sounds like a great idea. I have been busy sewing already. There must be something in the name Renee as mine is the same!
ReplyDeleteI loved your post at Stash and really would love to know the dimensions of the scarf you made. And I love that JUNK bag - I've made several bags and I want to go back and add some words. :) blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteI'm very much looking forward to this. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great idea! I'm willing to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing about Christmas sewing (as I packed up my vintage Christmas fabrics) but I think I'll take January off or at least until I can see colors other than red & green again. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh girl, you are singing my song!! I can not wait to get on board with your idea! :o) I posted the button on my blog. :o)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year sweet friend!! Trish
I think this is a great idea, too. Now if I can only figure out how to grab that darling button!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea...every year after Christmas I say I am going to start my sewing early for next Christmas and never do it...this will be so much fun...thank you for a great idea...Have a Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same as you. I love buying fabric, but don't like shopping for gifts. I'm making a list of gift ideas for next Christmas, but like you I want to start early. Thanks for the encouragement and motivation!
ReplyDeleteI am just learning to sew, but love this idea! I really want to make something for each of my kids (and maybe a few other people). Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm embarrassed to ask but I don't know how to get a button on to my web site. I don't know how to get all that "data" from your site to mine. There, I said it. Now do you think you can help me?? I'm so helpless in these matters.

What a fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I want next year to be less stressful. I'm in with this one. I finally got around to reading your guest post, I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the well wishes, I think I did wear myself out. If I join this, I don't think I will next year :)
ReplyDeleteI love your idea. I was thinking the other day I need to "work" on Christmas all year.
ReplyDeleteI managed to add your button to my blog.
Can't wait to see what we all make together.
