I feel so disconnected from all of you. It has been a crazy week in my world and I have only been able to give my computer a longing glance as I'm rushing out the door. I am very excited today, I get to be a guest at a wedding instead of the event coordinator. I wanted to show you a picture of my dress in case you need one for an event. It is from North Style and is a very reasonable price. I must say, it has a very "forgiving" silhouette for a curvy body like mine. I feel pretty, which is something I don't feel often when getting dressed up. My friend, Sally, hemmed it for me. I lost most of the detail on the bottom, but I love it!
I purchased this very comfortable shoe from Macy's. It's Etienne Aigner and mine is in white. I almost bought the red but didn't want to look too "fourth of July" since that is not the color scheme for the wedding. I did, however, get my toes star spangled...
it was very fun!
I will be back tomorrow to show you pictures of the quilt I made as the wedding gift and to talk with you about my observations on wedding etiquette for being a guest at a wedding. I have learned a lot at my job!
